*** (three of five stars)
I cover a lot of different titles, with some particular attention to the previous runs of "Spider-Man 2099" and "Nova." Welcome back, Richard! Until next time, Miguel.

Earth 2: World's End #15 (HERE BE SPOILERS!)
This issue is pretty straight-forward. Clark sacrifices himself to poison the clones (even though we still don't really have a great sense why his blood is poison to them), freeing the Avatar of the Red just in time, I'm guessing, to help the other Avatars hold the line (and maybe turn the tide) against the Furies next issue. Meanwhile, the Avatars get some support from Flash, since he and Kendra managed to get the secrets of the Furies from Famine. (Famine asked them if they're willing to pay the cost for that information, though we don't learn the cost that they've paid this issue.) The Apokolips team failed to destroy Apokolips, but the arrival of Mother Box inspires Mr. Terrific in a way that isn't yet clear. However, we also learn that Khan has let Jimmy know about a ship hiding in space that can hold millions of people, holding out the possibility that the heroes will fail and Earth 2 will, in fact, be destroyed (the premise of "The New 52: Futures End"). It's a lot happening (Dick Grayson continues the search for his son as well), but I have to say that it's coming together better than it has been in previous issues.
