I cover a lot of different titles, with some particular attention to the previous runs of "Spider-Man 2099" and "Nova." Welcome back, Richard! Until next time, Miguel.

A+X #3 (HERE BE SPOILERS!)
Seriously, for disposable stories, I'm not paying $3.99 a month. Ciao-sy.

A+X #2 (HERE BE SPOILERS!)
OK, these issues are really just meant to be fun, so, generally, I don't think I'll be reviewing them. I mean, the Black Widow/Rogue story was super-fun, but it's not really going to change the world. But, I do want to comment on how much I loved the Iron Man/Kitty story. I was of course excited when I saw that Peter David wrote it and it totally met my expectations. I just love that Tony realized that he really wanted Kitty to come work for him. If the post-"Avengers vs. X-Men" world means that we're finally going to see synergies that readers have always thought existed but that Marvel never explored, I am really excited to see where we go. With every issue of "Marvel NOW!" I feel like Marvel is really creating the unified universe that it always claimed to have but never achieved due to stove-piping their titles into groups. Exciting stuff!

A+X #1 (HERE BE SPOILERS!)
OK, I actually just bought this issue on a whim. My LCS pulled it for me, figuring that I'd want it as part of Marvel NOW! I wasn't going to get it, but I figured that I'd give it a whirl. But, now, I'm torn, because I thoroughly enjoyed both these stories. Dan Slott tells a damn fine Captain America story and I'm intrigued by Atticus Trask, particularly since he mentions 2099. (On a side note, since I'm a few comics from actually getting current on my reading for the first time in months, I'm excited that I'll be returning to my "Spider-Man 2099" project shortly.) I'm also intrigued by where where Loeb left the Hulk/Wolverine story, revealing President Red Hulk. The fact that I liked both stories and want more of the characters involved says a lot, since they're time-travel stories and I hate time-travel stories. I guess this series is staying on my pull list for a while longer.
