Teen Titans #16 (HERE BE SPOILERS!)

Lobdell tries to do some interesting stuff here, but it just winds up being a mess.  I mean, sure, for a moment, I thought that we had confirmation that Joker knew the guys' identities, since he claimed to have their fathers captive.  But, I didn't believe that Jason would try to kill Tim for the sake of saving his allegedly alive dead-beat father.  But, if you don't believe that, you really don't believe everything that follows.  Moreover, I really don't believe that Tim, for how smart he allegedly is, would believe that Jason had killed Joker without verifying it.  I mean, how many times has Joker evaded death?  Jason shoots him full of holes and they just sit there and shoot the shit?  "Hey, man, that Starfire girl is h-o-t.  Well done!"  "Thanks.  It's been a crazy...holy crap, Joker is alive!"  Really?  Seriously, it's just time for this whole event to end.  When it does, I need to make some decisions about whether DC is getting as much money as I've been giving it.
